Tempe Leadership Class XXV would like to thank the community for all their support. We exceeded our fundraising goal of $25,000 by $6,000. The additional funding will be used for operations and ongoing maintenance of the mobile shower trailer.

We would like to thank all the individuals who donated either through the Working Poor Tax Credit or by purchasing raffle tickets. We would also like to thank Whole Foods Market, Phoenix Suns, D.P. Electric, Inc., Gracie's Thrift, Dave's Electric Brew Pub, Caliente Construction, Inc., Missio Dei Communities, APS, SRP and Representative Harry Mitchell for their monetary or in-kind donations. This project would not be possible without the support of the community. We are very thankful.

Class XXV would like to give special recognition to the Dial Corporation. They provided the dollar amount needed to exceed our fundraising goal and they will be providing the hygiene products for the showers, and even towels. Dial is also wrapping the trailer and has made a long time commitment to sustaining Shower Power as a community amenity. Their commitment to Shower Power is greatly appreciated.

Channel 15 and PSA Shoot

We shot a Shower Power PSA today at City in the Desert working with EVIT staff and students interviewing I-HELP clients.  Channel 15 News covered it, and we are breathlessly awaiting an airing tonight.

Small crew, big results.

Great job!  Watch for the spot to run here on the site, to focus on how Shower Power will positively affect I-Help Clients.
And Happy Birthday Tanya!
